Cover-ups that erase old chapters. Floral pieces that mean something. The manager who keeps TNT running. If it's been bothering you for years, she'll fix it.
Heather Baldwin is the cover-up queen at TNT Tattoo and the manager who keeps the shop running. In her own words: "Cover-ups · Traditional · Neo-traditional · Illustrative · Black and Grey" — that's the range. She's been doing this long enough to look at almost any existing tattoo and tell you, honestly, what it'll take to fix it.
Her favorite cover-ups are the ones with stories. The ex's name turned into a peony bouquet. The garage flash piece from 2009 reborn as a clean neo-traditional bird. The faded tribal that becomes a rosary draped through roses. Heather doesn't judge what's already on your skin. She helps you decide what you'd rather it be.
Outside of cover-ups, she works in florals, neo-traditional, birds with roses, anatomical hearts, rosary pieces, wolves with flowers — anything where surgical linework and feminine composition matter. Her portfolio reads like a quiet rebellion against generic flash.
She's Hawaii-licensed (#6423) and has been a fixture at TNT since the shop expanded its bench. As manager, she's also the one keeping our scheduling honest, our supply room stocked, and our standards high. If you call the shop, you might catch her first.
Heather's specialty. Heavy black, color saturation, prior cover-ups — she's worked through it all. Honest consultations: if laser fading would make the cover-up better, she'll say so up front.
Peonies, roses, wildflowers, anatomical botanical. Single stems or full sleeves. Soft shading, clean linework, color that holds.
The traditional structure (bold lines, saturated palette) opened up with modern composition and brighter pigment ranges. Sweet spot for her color work.
Her most-requested motif. Sparrows, swallows, eagles paired with rose work. Always custom — never the same composition twice.
Anatomical heart with floral wraps. Religious symbols. Memorial pieces. The pieces that mean something deeper than decoration.
Rosary draping, Sacred Heart, devotional pieces. Heather treats religious work with the gravity it deserves — clean linework, dignified composition.

Most can. Heather has covered heavy black, color saturation, and prior cover-ups. Some require laser fading first — she'll tell you honestly if that's the case. Free consultation to assess.
Cover-ups cost more than fresh tattoos — they take more design work and longer sessions. Small cover-ups start around $300; larger or complex ones $800-$2,500+. Free consultation gives you the exact quote.
3-6 hours depending on size and complexity. Some need two sessions. Plan for a longer day than a fresh tattoo.
